FRESH WATER WORLD

THE WORLD OF FRESH WATER IS INCREDIBLE
It's the most precious substance on the planet
All life on earth depends on it

Its properties are mind blowing and this film shows the amazing diversity of life in FRESH WATER and how different species have adapted to these properties

An important part of the film is a view into the habitats water
protects - river and lakeside, gorges, bogs, and marshes - all
full of biodiversity but under enormous pressure from drainage, pollution and climate change in our modern world

Using cameras, from the Ultra HD RED to 4K Osmo Action and tiny Raspberry Pi's the film shows water's best and least known residents and visitors as they live, breed and feed in and around this truly astonishing substance.

Brown Trout (Salmo trutta) in rocky stream
Dragonfly (Libellula depressa) on reed stem over water
A Dipper (Cinclus cinclus) in river with moss for nest in beak
Keep visiting to see sneak previews of sequences, learn about the ups -  and downs
of natural history filming and maybe see how it's done!
